Pushpa 2 Box Office Collection Day 56: Allu Arjun’s Blockbuster Sees a Rise in Earnings Ahead of OTT Release
The Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule, which premiered in theaters on December 5, 2024, has successfully completed over 50 days on the big screen. Despite its upcoming OTT release, the film continues to attract audiences, contributing to its impressive box office performance.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Pushpa 2: The Rule has amassed an estimated ₹1232.84 crore in total box office earnings after a 56-day theatrical run. On Wednesday (Day 56), January 29, the film earned ₹7 lakhs. While this figure is significantly lower than the movie’s earlier double-digit earnings, it marks a notable increase compared to its earnings on Day 54 (Monday). On its eighth Monday, Pushpa 2 had collected only ₹3 lakhs, making Wednesday’s earnings 57% higher than Monday’s.

The Sukumar directorial made a record-breaking start at the box office, grossing a staggering ₹725.8 crore in its first week. The film maintained its strong momentum, earning ₹264.8 crore in the second week, ₹129.5 crore in the third, and ₹69 crore in the fourth week. However, collections began to decline after the sixth week, with the film earning ₹9.7 crore. The earnings further dropped to ₹5.85 crore in the seventh week.
Despite this slowdown, Pushpa 2: The Rule has significantly outperformed its predecessor, Pushpa: The Rise. While the first installment had an India net collection of ₹267.55 crore, Pushpa 2 has reached a staggering ₹1232.84 crore globally.
Pushpa 2’s OTT Release
As anticipation builds for its digital premiere, Netflix has announced Pushpa 2: The Rule – Reloaded, an extended version featuring 23 minutes of additional footage. The exclusive extended cut will be available for streaming from January 30 in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam languages.
With its phenomenal box office run and upcoming OTT release, Pushpa 2: The Rule continues to be a major success, further cementing Allu Arjun’s dominance in the industry.
